RAM Mismatch in Fastboot vs Android on Fairphone 5

Hello,

I have a Fairphone 5, purchased directly from Fairphone with /e/OS preinstalled.
According to the specifications, my model should have 128GB of storage and 6GB of RAM.

However, when I boot into fastboot mode, I see the message “MEMORY SIZE - 8GB + 128GB”.
Yet in Android, only 6GB of RAM is recognized and usable.

This makes me wonder: could the device actually have 8GB of physical RAM, with only 6GB being made available via software?
Similar to how Apple sometimes disables cores on certain chips to create product differentiation.

Noticed exacltly the same, I suppose they have change supply and kept there old memory separation to keep product expensive.
a bit shady I found.
