I about to leave the e.mail server.
I’m using Thunderbird since years and I’m used to scroll into my mails off-line.
With the IMAP e.email I can’t set the storage in Local Folders, as POP servers allow.
Am I missing something ?

I’m sorry, I think I don’t understand your issue. I’m using Evolution under Ubuntu and the e.email Emails are offline available. Same on Thunderbird 60.8.0 on Ubuntu.
