Recycle Bin for deleted contacts?

Hi all, I mistakenly deleted a lot of contacts yesterday - is there anywhere in e OS where the deleted contacts may still be stored?

Using File Manager apps I’m unable to find the data store for the Contacts Storage app (com.android.providers.contacts)

Can anyone advise please?

I using /e/OS 3.73 on a Teracube 2e

Keep a backup of your contacts in a .vcf file on a safe place and refresh it from time to time. So you can restore deleted contacts.

Note: having such backups is always a good idea because the user him- or herself is always the most effective endangerment for his or her own data. The typical method of learning that is the so called hard way.
