[Request] RSS Feed for EOS Updates and Events

Hi there.

Unfortunately I had to say goodbye to e/os since my S9 died and I have to use a S21+ now. (Yes, stock android is shit!) I still would like to follow the progression of e/os and I also hope my device will become compatible eventually.

Today there was an event on Youtube which I missed because I didn’t see the announcement. I can’t even remember where I found the topic. There are so many sections, it’s a maze to navigate.

When I had an update on the device I had to go to the git to find out what was changed. Maybe I can find the release notes on the forum, but like I mentioned before… It’s a maze to navigate.

Therefore I would like to request an RSS feed where we can read about announcements and updates + release notes. Maybe other people can chip in what they want to see.

I really hope this will be a thing. Thanks in advance.

you could subscribe to any related Mastodon account by just adding .rss at the end, e.g.:

  • https://mastodon.social/@murena with https://mastodon.social/@murena.rss
  • https://mastodon.social/@e_mydata with https://mastodon.social/@murena.rss
  • https://mastodon.social/@gael with https://mastodon.social/@murena.rss

To find a non-obvious RSS feed on any website that might provide one:

  • navigate to the desired page
  • right-click on the page
  • select “View page source”
  • Ctrl F to search for occurrence(s) of “rss” or “feed”
  • copy the RSS link
  • add to RSS reader

Entering multiple RSS feeds for one product is a great workaround, but not what I am asking for.
