My question: Is my topic really similar to the request about Nokia 7.2? Because I didn’t find any word in the list of devices about an install program / process for my Nokia 7.1 smartphone.

Unfortunately Nokia do not permit unlocking of their phones other than the 6.1 model so installing any other OS is not possible. I was disappointed to find I could not install /e/ on my Nokia 5.3. I ended up selling the Nokia and buying a Xiaomi and am glad I did.
Nokia may change their attitude in the future, but until then just avoid Nokia products.
@DelJen You are partly right. I own a Nokia 7 plus myself and had the bootloader unlocked at @TechMesto for 9 euros. However, it is very difficult to obtain sources with which to build the rom. You do have the option to install a GSI. So there are options for you @robverment

Thank you for your reply. Disappointing, that Nokia doesn’t permit this.
However, someone else wrote me, that there seems still a possibility. But until now I don’t understand his workaround.

Thank you for your suggestion. However don’t understand what you mean by “install a GSI” . I suppose Tech Mesto is someone in this community who has the possibility to unlock the bootloader of the Nokia 7.1 Can you lead me further in this?

@TechMesto isn’t part of this community. You can contact him through telegram.@TechMesto. That’s one option (wich I did)
Second option is contacting @RaghuVarma through telegram. He also unlocks bootloader’s and he builds custom roms for the 7 plus.
GSI means Generic System Image and these images you can install on every device supported by treble.
You can find a lot of info about GSI on this community.
