Reset editing app for fotos

I am using F-Stop and Aves to view my images instead of the default gallery app. I set by error the editor for photos to the inbuilt editor of the default gallery app, and now I’d like to get back to the inbuilt editor of F-Stop. In the default apps there is no mention of photo editing, can I set or reset this somewhere else?

ah, I found a way: I installed a random new photo-editor app, then other apps start asking again which one should be default for editing photos. But it would be a bit more convenient, if a user can just set the default apps with the other default apps like launcher, mail, etc.?

There is a way. I use my phone in german, so bear with my (bad) translation.

  1. Go to the Settings >> Apps >> GALLERY app (in the list)
  2. Scroll down to something like “open by default” and tap on it.
  3. blue button Delete “Other default settings”
