Reset option does not work

The reset option starts the smartphone (S8 with version 0.19 stable) in recovery mode and executes a script there, but does not delete anything.
After the reboot, the smartphone is still in the previous state.
No reset has taken place.

The feature could be named “factory reset” or “wipe /data” in recovery mode

Yes, that’s quite clear.
I wanted to point out the malfunction of the component of /e/.
There is a script stored, which starts and boots the phone in recovery mode, runs there, but then does not work.
