Hello! Today I tried to launch revolut and was greeted with the message that it doesn’t run on rooted devices. I got the Teracube phone from Murena with pre-installed /e/ OS, I don’t think (not sure) that it was rooted?
Anyway, I installed Revolut about 3-4 weeks ago, it was working fine, I created an account, had no problems logging in and everything worked. But not anymore. Was it some recent /e/ OS update or is it on Revolut’s site? I saw similar topics on Revolut refusing to run on modified firmware about a year ago, and it seems that the issue was resolved back then.
Maybe this is linked to an e/os update.
Did you have an Over The Air update since you first use revolut? Could you share the following informations :
What is your phone ?
What is the e/OS version installed on it?
Find out at settings > about the device
My s-bank APP also stopped working with the same news…i de-installed it and loaded the prior app version and it worked:)
My assumption is something updates not in sync with micro g updates. My wife is using IODE as OS and she has no issues. IODE I find most of the time speedier in updating the OS:)
Give it a try ![]()
I think I installed Revolut about 3-4 weeks ago, and there was an e os update a couple of weeks ago. The phone is Teracube 2e.
/e/ OS version is
3.7.3-a15-20260507618655-oficial-emerald
I’ll let other rule out if this is related to OS upgrade or not.
@Manoj what do you think?
Passing the observations on Revolut to the developers. I am assuming they will request for a bug to be created.
If you refer with S-bank to S Mobiili app, could you share that where did you find the older version?
Thanx!
Which device is this issue being detected on and which version of the /e/OS build.
Just tried to re-install Revolut, and it didn’t help, unfortunately, still complains about the rooted device
