Ringo App not working

Hello, I have the latest version of the app from Aurora Store (RingGo 7.79.0.2). I am using /e/OS 3.2 on a Fairphone 6. No previous issues - last used on 22nd November so we have a new app version as of 11th December. Today, when I try to log in, I get the following message:

"Info

As an added security measure, logins require the latest version of the app. Please ensure your app is up to date and try again. If your app is up to date but you continue to see this message, please try closing the app fully and try again, or try reinstalling the app".

I am able to login to Ringo online, just not on the app. I’ve enabled all trackers, tried without using a VPN. Tried reinstalling the app too, same message. Tried on Wifi and 4/5G, same issue. Tried with the Ringo app from the /eOS/ App Lounge too - just incase there was a different version. Same issue.

Suggests an issue with the latest update. Anyone else getting this at all?

I went to Aurora store with a view to testing, I notice the current download contains this message.

Thanks! Yeah I’ve reached out to support. Got a feeling it’s related in some way shape or form of the Garmin Connect issue many users experienced in September 2025. Will post up if there is a resolution from them.

Support replied with:

The latest version of the app is 7.80.0 can you update the app and see if that works.

Once the app has update you may have to turn you phone complete off and back on again.

This has help other customer to access there accounts.

But the latest version on Aurora seems to be 7.79.02, seems unusual that it’s not updated on there.

If it helps, I do see 7.80.0 currently on Aurora Store in UK.

I swear 15mins ago it was not there lol - still shows the 7.79. on Google Play too lol

Just to confirm, downloaded the new version from Aurora. Restarted phone too, same issue lol
