i installed it , and its a truly beautiful rom , responsive , private , and the camera app was the last thing i needed from oneui and this rom has the same if not better camera app , so i think i will be daily this rom from now on , and the recovery is beautiful too , thanks a million my friend
Hello! Thank you for the feedback regarding the camera. My daily driver is an S23 Ultra running regular Samsung Android, but I tried installing /e/OS on my old Galaxy Note 9 and could not be happier — it works brilliantly. I cannot say there is much difference between the image quality from the stock Samsung camera app and what I get from the default /e/OS camera app on the Note 9.
However, after trying the Open Camera app (which I guess is basically the same as the /e/OS camera app) on my S23 Ultra running regular Samsung Android and comparing it to the stock Samsung camera app, there is a big difference in zoom quality. The main reason I got the S23 Ultra in the first place was precisely because of its camera, so that is something I would really miss if I switched from Samsung’s Android to /e/OS on the S23 Ultra. Maybe I am doing something wrong. Would you mind sharing some photo samples, especially comparing the zoom capabilities? I would really appreciate it if possible.
It would also be very interesting to hear feedback from anyone else who has installed /e/OS on their S23 Ultra.
Anyone have an idea when a stable release of /e/OS for the S23 Ultra might come?
