@cornfarmer has solved his problems:

Galaxy S9 'starlte' + /e/OS 'Q' dev AOSP Android 10

After spending a few hours trying to install (the wrong way!) stock Android 10, then a few more flashing to Q, I’m pretty much over all this shit at this point.
