I read here in the /e/Forum about significantly more problems in handling Heimdall under Linux than Odin under Windows, although both are only used for flashing the Custom-Recovery. Odin users are also not directly confronted with the so-called ‘print-pit’.

The /e/ OS installation on Samsung Galaxy is really /e/asy - at the latest when a custom recovery is working on the Android device.
