The reason behind the failure of SafertNet was discussed here. App developers will have to move to Google’s Play Integrity API.
If this is still relevant, here’s my own contribution, running e/OS on Teracube 2e zirconia.
I tried testing Safetynet with YASNAC but got this error message:
Google Play Services API Error(7: Network error)
When using the Root and SafetyNet Checker app, the test returned ‘failed’ for SafetyNet Status.
I hope this helps.
I actually got to this thread as I’m facing an issue with Revolut blocking me with the error message saying it is “not supported on devices with custom firmware”. Could the SafetyNet result explain the Revolut issue? Any chance it could be a lead for resolving it? @Manoj
There is an issue around this on gitlab You can add your comments to it to help the developers debug it.
Hi!
Are you still using the Samsung Galaxy S10e? I’m using the latest 3.1.4-a15-20250916526795-community-beyond0lte on that device, and a Play Integrity test fails for account verification, device integrity and app integrity.
Hello ditsch42,
I still use my Samsung Galaxy S10e and I have the last A13(t) version
3.1.4-t-20250919528048-community-beyond0lte
Now with this version the SafetyNet test result is “failed”
Safty net was depreciated and now is shut down completely. This is why you get this error. It is substituted with play integrity.
