Looks like there is an issue with the official image for GS290 (2.6.3-s-20241217455357-official-GS290) and the SELinux flag. I used the easy installer and did not do any further modifications. The “Payback” app is not opening probably because of this “rooted” issue 
I’m not able to use Payback for over a year on my A12 /e/OS (rooted, with all sorts of cloaks installed). Same for Eventim and I cannot login to the eBay-App. So far all my banking apps work so you really start to think how paranoid these companies are.
But my is not rooted thus expecting that all those apps (it is not only payback) with “root check” start without isdue when using the official rom
Well those app-makers are somewhat paranoid. Unfortunately. Yes, you do use an official /e/ ROM but those apps are looking for something I cannot figure out. Like said: eBay, Eventim, Payback… No way I’m getting them to work (bullshit crap like “your phone ia at risk”). It’s frustrating. Banking apps all work. Why arw they so paranoid?

Something to do with Android version?
Could be location specific download restrictions
On my tablet using Samsung stock ROM (Android 14), I can download those apps without any issues. Therefore it’s hard for me to imagine how this could relate to such restrictions

Got an update from the team that RootBeerFresh may have issues and throw false positives …Issue has been discussed here

After upgrade to 2.8 SafetyNet does not work on MI 9 Lite.
As I said no need to push updates each month if you can’t sustain quality !

Same here on 2.8-t-20250225471522-community-beyond1lte. It was validating well on 2.7 (or at least some weeks ago).
Getting the same Google Play Services Api Error(7: Network error) on my Motorola G100 with 2.8-a14-20250224470211-community-nio installed.
