I just installed e/os today on a pixel 7 using the computer usb method. Seems to went fine, but failed to pass safety net. (green for response signature verif, red for account verif, device integrity, and app integrity).
YASNAC indicates google paly services API error 7/ network_error
Micro G is fine, every boxes are ticked in the auto check.
Not sure what is the problem. But I installed e/os because it was indicated the safetynet would be pass (and so I should be able to use my bank stuff)
Have you tried the bank app(s)?
Thanks. I installed yesterday evening my 2 bank apps and “Itsme” (Belgian Id stuff) and all apps run fine. I am just bothered with very few green checks: Play integrity API checker meets “basic integrity” but not “device integrity” and “strong integrity”. (and Yasnac does not work and Safety net checker only the basic stuff).
I would have prefer something green for all… and I am wondering if some people managed to get (without rooting or other stuff) all the green checked with e/os on Pixel 7 ?
Safetynet is an old system and in my experience the various Safetynet apps can give different results. In my view it was a mistake from the start to include these ood results on the info pages.
The Play Integrity API Checker
gr.nikolasspyr.integritycheck
is available from App Lounge and is favoured by micro-G.
Classifications are basic | device | strong.
My unlocked 3.1.4-a15-20250916526794-community-ocean achieves basic.
As I understand
- device requires a minimum of locked bootloader.
- strong would require a “keybox” unlikely to be installable on /e/OS.
Thanks for your answer! when you say “locked”, you mean the bootloader? I think I re locked the bootloader as a part of the “official” process of installing e/os.
Yes, that’s right, I meant locked bootloader, I’ll adjust the post.
