Samsug Galaxy S9 Plus Hotspot PPTP connection broken

Samsung S9 Plus was known for breaking PPTP connections for connected devices via its Hotspot feature.

I still use PPTP (I know about the security issues) to connect to work and cannot use my S9 with E.Foundation to do it and have to carry around a second device.

Samsung eventually identified the problem and released an update and fixed this. (see below)
