Samsung A52: Waking up the screen lock does not work

Somebody flashed on my samsung A52 (Android 14) /e/os two days ago (my first experience with /e/os). Now it is /e/os (murena) with android 15. In principle, it works, including waking up the screen lock, which activates after 2 minutes of non-use. But about once a day, waking up the screen lock does not work. It happens in connection with phone calls. Either the device has a screen lock, the phone rings, and I can’t answer the call—I tried tapping the green button or swiping in different directions. I couldn’t unlock it. The other situation: I’m on the phone for a few minutes, during which time the screen lock activates, and after the call, I can no longer unlock the screen (with my fingerprint). In both cases, the only thing that helps is a hard reset (pressing and holding the speaker and power buttons). However, the problem doesn’t occur every time, currently about once a day. It’s very frustrating.

I am new in this forum, and I do not have experience with /e/os. I really hope for some good ideas.

Now I know more: Whenever the screen is locked and the phone rings, I cannot answer the call because of the screen lock. When the screen is not locked, it is no problem to answer the call. Since I can’t use the phone this way, I have now completely disabled the screen lock. This isn’t a good solution, but it’s currently the only way for me to use the phone properly.
I really hope there is a solution to this problem.

Do you allow Phone to send Notification of incoming call? … then press on that notification I expect to answer the call.

When I open the notification settings in the phone app, the window you see below appears.
Full-screen notifications are enabled. But the top option, “All notifications from phone,” is disabled and cannot be enabled.
Do you have any idea how to do this?

I see the same. I still receive the incoming call notification.

I can tap on Incoming calls to see the settings there.

And you have the same device?

When my screen was locked and the phone rings, I See the full screen notification with a red button for decline and a green button for accept the call . But the device does not react to my fingers at all because I cannot unlock.

So I had to shut down the device “hard”.

No I don’t have that phone, but clearly it seems wrong to have to reset due to this problem.

Just for clarity Samsung provide Soft reset (Vol down + Power) usually used to clear a malfunction.

Yes, ‘Vol down + Power’ I had to use when I could not unlock the device any more.
