The Lineage OS installation guide is very detailed and so is the documentation, I couldn’t add anything.

I had some difficulties to reboot in recovery at steps 6/7. It is said:
"Unplug the USB cable from your device.
Manually reboot into recovery:
With the device powered off, Reboot and immediately hold Volume Up + Power while the device is connected to a PC via USB cable.
"
This wouldn’t work and ended up in booting on android.
Proposal:
6: Once download is finished (successfull message on computer terminal) keep the device connected to USB port and hold Volume down + Power for 7 seconds until display turns black
7: Immediately move fingers to Volume Up+Power you should see /e/os logo and Recovery menus.
