I also contacted a developer in the testing group. I got a response, they are looking into it (or at least where to report the current issue)

I’ll go back to official version asap and do the update so that i can tell you what’s going on on my side.
Maybe clean install will behave differently…

The person wrote, it will be posted somewhere now I know it worked for you to het notified (I was also quicker than him realizing I only play messenger I am not a user with S7)

I have updated my phone to /e/OS 3.0 and I’m still having trouble with my device belonging to an “organization” and can’t install shelter or parental control. Murena’s own features can’t even run on their own OS… Getting tired of chasing a ghost device admin app and not being in possession of my data. If I can get advanced privacy to run on LOS, I quit murena.

The problem is that this issue may be solved for parental control, but I’m not sure if it’ll be for shelter. My decision is not just a sudden impulse : it’s a carefully thought through decision I’ve had for several months.
My battery is being drained by an account manager which cannot even sync my notes or my contacts. It’s useless, and it takes too much battery. There was a time I didn’t even received my mails ! Besides, I can’t protect my data properly, as /e/ prevent me from installing shelter. Material you is disabled by default because “it doesn’t match their UI guidelines” and so much more. Murena slogan is “choose freedom”. Which freedom ? My phone’s no longer mine, a pseudo “organization” prevents me from doing what I want to do, and the OS won’t let me uninstall a system app until I’ve rooted my phone and brute-forced its uninstallation.
What I must say is great is their advanced privacy tool, and it’s currently the only thing that hold me back, plus the fact that my data is already on the phone. I’d like to port it as a standalone app, as murena won’t do it as it’s a low priority task on their side. I’ll open a thread about that soon.
Hello, I managed to root the phone.
I’ve read further the magisk wiki and that helped me solve the issue i was facing.
