Hello, I am using Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 3G Code Name SM-T231/T231
The os version is Kitkat 4.4.2 and it’s pretty back-dated. I wish, if I could have a /e/ rom for my old tablet to make the device re-useable!
Is there a developer who can make a rom for my device? or help/guide me to create an /e/ rom?

You provided lots of detail but not the device codename [HOWTO] Find device codename.

The internal codename is degas3g

It would take a fan or enthusiast to build a custom ROM for a tablet from 2014. Equipped with only 1.5 GB RAM with 16GB or even only 8 GB eMMC, only a reduced /e/OS V1.2.x will probably be possible, if at all.

The LineageOS statistics reveal a few things between the lines…

Actually samsung rom is fullfil with a lot of their own system app which makes my tablet’s movement slower, and the disgusting google app updates made my tablet almost dead.
please suggest me what should I do!

Hope someone is still working on it… Really looking for to see this project succeed… The hardware is built solid but not the specs or the software… mine still looks brand new and I couldn’t pull the plug on this device… if someone’s working then I would like to sign myself up for beta testing or help out as much as possible… If I am too late, then there’s nothing much… Thanks You…
