Samsung S7 (930F) continually fails with error 7

Hello,
I have a Smasung S7 that simply refuses to load /e/ and fails with error code 7. I’ve edited the script to no avail and eventually had to load Lineage 18.1 on it. Whilst this works I would prefer \e\ (I already have it loaded on an S5).

My old OS was - can anyone help?

Hi @tosh124, you have to use TWRP 3.3.x-x instead of 3.4.x-x witch is designed for android 10.

You can use TWRP to flash it without computer (.img), or Heimdall (.img) or Odin with computer (.tar)

Thanks very Piero, I’ll give it a shot and see what happens. I’m a tad confused as to why it would make a difference though?

You were spot on with your advice

Is there a list anywhere highlighting which versions should be used for the relevant OS? I want to my G8 when its available…

Thanks very much - but that isnt what I meant as they are only the builds and the builds appear to be sensitive to version is TWRP so I was hoping for something that highlighted both the device and the version of TWRP?

3.4.0-0 don’t work to install android 9, 8, 7.
3.3.x-x work to install android 9, 8, 7.

Perfect!

Thank you very much for your help.
