Samsung S7 easy installer hung up repeatetly

Hey people out there, I have installed e/os many times successfully on Samsung S7 phones via easy installer on Linux, this time it wont work: Phone successfully detected, but in last step in section “Restart device in Recovery mode”, namely "Select “Apply Update from ADB”, on the phone I get a screen ‘Recovery’ with menu items ‘ADB Sideload’ and ‘Cancel’ and saying below:

– Wiping data…
Formating /data…
Formating /cache…
Data wipe complete.

Now send package you want to apply
to the device with "adb sideload …
E: Timeout waiting for messages from minadbd

Install compledted with status 3.
Installation aborted.

This happened repeatedly now.

Any ideas what I can do?

Hello @3ekk, welcome to this forum.

Point (1) of the guide :

  • install “adb”

Point (8) of the guide :

  • Reboot to recovery
  • Apply the update
    Apply using adb sideload command from the computer

Everything else is already done !
