I ordered a Samsung SM-T500 of eBay but when it arrived it is a SM-T503 with Kernel version: T503XXU1AVE4 at Android 11, Knox version 3 .7. I did a bit of searching on this site and found this thread:

The chart Piero left in post 12, does that mean I am OK to load eOS onto the T503? I can update to Android 12 if necessary.

My reading of Smartphone Selector finds no match with the codename gta4lvewifi would indicate not supported. You could double check on your device if that is confirmed, may be visible in Android recovery.
aibd, I hope you are wrong and i can use it. Thankfully EBay should get me a refund, but I have to go through the pain to send it back. Next purchase I will specify to seller the exact model.
I wonder what @piero is referring to in the chart?
Piero is making a list (copied from the main Google supported devices list) of set of the Galaxy Tab A7 – the T509 and T503 appear to be different from the main group. I don’t know this family of tablets but the device codename is always the defining item to specify the build.
