Hi
During my vacation, I had the chance to test the recently added support of Android Auto and it worked quite nicely - big kudos to the team
However, I noticed something strange: assume that the phone is connected to the car, Android Auto is running and currently routing with Google Maps. After a while, the phoneβs screen automatically turns off. Now when unlocking the phone with its fingerprint sensor (of course not while driving ), the screen remains off. However, when now pressing the power button, the screen is turned on. My rather naive impression is that the first interaction (touching the fingerprint sensor) unlocks the phone but does not turn on the screen, which happens with the second interaction. I even tested the second interaction by just pressing the power button with my fingernail so that it was not the fingerprint sensor again, which still worked.
Does anybody encounter the same phenomenon?
