Screen not working for 5 seconds

Hi there,

I just want to ask if I am the only person with a problem with the screen sometimes. Approximatly every 10th time I unlock my phone the screen is not responding for around 5 seconds. The phone in total is working, music is played etc. but the screen just doesnt react. I couldnt find a pattern when this happens.
If I am the only person then maybe its a hardware problem so I wanted to ask.

I think I have a similar issue. Sometimes when I get to the home screen nothing is responding and I need to lock and unlock my phone to get it working again. Never waited for 5s though because I am not patient enough, but next time it freezes I’ll wait to see if it solves itself.
Noticed this issue after the update to 3.2-a15-official.

i am experiencing the exact same issue as OP described on my FP6 and /e/OS 3.2-a15 and did also on previous builds.

I have the same issue on FP6 e/os 3.2

Additionally, if I lower the brightness below 100%, Black becomes reddish-gray discolored and there are vertical stripes. Doesn’t show up on Screenshots when I view them on PC, so I guess hardware. Does someone else have this?

issue with 5 seconds of unresponsive touchscreen still persists after updating to /e/OS 3.4.

i will try to figure out a pattern to this, as it only happens about every 10th times or so like OP mentioned.

When a severe bug as this occurs i would expect murena to respond but its been 4, months.

Fk this phone and this OS.

its been a debilitating experience and all I wanted is some privacy.

Im now going to full tilt into the opppsite and buying an iphone.

The wifi 5 problem is still not fixed, this thing where i have to restart the phone in order for parts of the display to work again (im assuming there are ghost windows in front of the display but failed to close previous apps properly)

There is no normal keyboard and gboard is the only keyboard thats remotely useable. Still no proper clipboard tho. And the fact that you cant customize screen gestures is criminal.

I wish i could get to keep all the privacy features because they are features that should be included by regulation.

But it isnt. And this user experience sucks at the moment. I wouldnt recommend this unless you ABSOLUTELY need privacy.
