Screen recorder recording no sound

Hello,

I don’t get any sound when recording with the /e/OS screen recorder. I can’t find it neither in the app list to manage permission if the problem comes from there. Do someone know how to get the sound properly ?

Do you mean the red icon with the mic in the middle? If so I hit record and say a few words, then stop recording. Then I click on the music icon in app and my recording is there. It asks if I want to connect with music or gallery (I used music since it’s audio).

I am running the same phone and eOS version as you. It was a fresh install in my case.

Edit: I just re-read your post, where do you find screen recorder?

Whenever I start the screen recorder from Quick tile I get an intro splash screen showing audio toggled off and a very small drop down menu under audio re sound from device / microphone.

Do you not see these options? Or is sound just not working?

I tried again on /e/os 4.0 and still get no sound from it, only video
