SD card as internal memory extension on Redmi note 5 Pro under e 0.15 whyred

I replaced my SD 64g external memory with a faster 128G SD that I formatted as internal memory extension but now by USB connection my PC (under Linux elementary) only detect the SD card and no more the phone! Is it an explanation?
Moreover I had to use additional softwares from Aurora to transfer files and softwares from the phone internal memory to the SD. And this was only partaially successful.
Does anyone have any other experieces?

Stop using SD card as internal memory. It gave me only problems! I see no merit in this way of installing the card. :smile:

If you get an OTG drive you can get out without loss of data!
