Just noticed that cannot use calendar search feature. Mine crashes too when trying to search.

Install the Etar calendar from F-Drid and search will work.

It’s what I did, but now I receive the notifications twice. I can’t disable notifications from the default app and they share the same davx account.

You can use the uninstall the default app.

I’m not sure how to do that.

Your PC needs the Android SDK Platform Tools

Sorry, I thought this was feedback to developers to fix something that has broken after update… Will re-post…

In this calendar search works well.

What is then the problem with the default /e/ calendar APP?

Wishing all a nice week?

or me, the calendar app always crashes as soon as I go to the search function. This has been the case for several e/OS versions. I always thought it would be fixed. But nothing has happened so far. However, it should be mentioned that the app crashes on the FP4…but not on the Galaxy S7…hope this will be solved.

I searched gitlab and could not find an issue about it, so I created one and copied the logs of the first post.

@Manoj Please take into account this new issue.

Thanks for raising the issue. Have tagged it to the dev team. The issue appears to be device-specific. Am able to search on an Oneplus 7T hotdogb

Issues noticed on : FP4, Google Pixel 3xl, GS290, nio

Maybe not only FP4 though.

Thanks . Have added all the devices which reported this issue.

Build-in calendar app is crashing when hitting the “Search”-button.

The issue seems to be showing up on /e/OS S builds. Anyone getting a crash on a /e/OS T build?

Hi guys,

While searching for a past appointment within the default calendar app, it causes to crash the app all the time. Rebooting the phone had not solved this issue.

Is it a known issue ?
