I have been using the VR SecureGo Plus App for a while on /e/OS and it has been working fine. After updating my phone a few weeks ago to the newest version, the app was suddenly like frozen whenever I opened it. It was still trying to receive Data, but couldnt do it and I couldnt access settings or refresh or anything.
It was impossible to interact with it at all, no reaction anywhere. Starting it went fine, but nothing after, as if the screen froze. Closing it also no problem, rest of the phones works normally.
I couldn’t find anything on it online, so I uninstalled the app and asked for a new activation code to set it up again. Same thing again. App was frozen, nothing worked, no reaction, as if the touchscreen was locked.
I tried the (grey) securego Plus app instead - same thing - unable to interact. Uninstalling both and installing them again changed nothing.
It says in the App settings, that there are no permissions granted to the app, I was wondering if that is the reason but couldnt find which permissions the app need and also dont understand why it would be an issue right after installing it.
Thanks to everyone for the input - I didnt change any settings as far as I know but maybe something changed with the updates?
Unfortunatly I dont know which settings could have any impact so it feels hard to check. Which ones would you check? Or rather,which ones could have an impact maybe?

Does the app freeze only occur if you are connected by WiFi ?
Within the microG-Settings you can do a self-check (1st item).
Further investigations needs adb or Terminal (e.g. ConnectBot) access to the phone and e.g. logcat.

I wanted to try some of the things you suggested, but suddenly the app is working again… It is possible that I only connected through WIFI before, but I think I tried both.
I am not sure what happend and just hope that it will work normally now since it seems to do that on most devices with no problem. Should it freeze again I will try what you suggested and let you know.
