I’ve experienced the strangest behavior when sending e-mail.
Consider an e-mail thread like this (I now understand why Usenet folks hate top-posting, also this exchange is entirely made up…) :
Manoj, 12/15/24, 3PM: Sounds great! Looking forward to it!
Voyager529, 12/14/24, 3PM: I’ve got the information I need, getting started!
Manoj, 12/13/24, 3PM: Hetzner, AWS, and Oracle are all fine.
Voyager529, 12/12/24, 3PM: Hi Manoj! What cloud providers should I consider for my Youtube video?
Now, on my phone, this exchange works perfectly. In eM Client, this also works perfectly. On the Web, however…not so much.
Suppose the above exchange happened on my phone, threading as expected, then I responded with SnappyMail. This is what Manoj would receive:

Voyager529, 12/14/24, 3PM: I’ve got the information I need, getting started!
Voyager529, 12/12/24, 3PM: Hi Manoj! What cloud providers should I consider for my Youtube video?
I found this particularly strange, since it also deleted the prior entries from Manoj which should just be body text at that point…
Any thoughts as to why this might be?
