Hello, I just realized that all of my mail since the mid of january is getting sent from a @murena.io e-mail rather than my @e.email Adress. This is rather confusing as I have disabled my murena.io e-mail and have not read any information as to why this is. I have had a feeling that murena is trying to get users to switch to the murena.io e-mails rather than e.email but im very confused as to why this was switched. I have noticed that they get sent and received to the same mail-box but as I try to have everything clean this just adds to confusion as I now have two e-mails but only want one.
As far as I remember users who registered for @e.email were given a second ID @murena.io which works as an alias. Seems all ok to me.
I see both the default Mail app and the murena.io Snappymail have a default of @e.mail but can be changed.
Snappymail; Compose message, in the from field, there is a dropdown at the right hand end, where I can switch ID. Seems like it remembers “last used”.
In the default Mail app Top left 3 bar menu > Settings > Accounts > email account > Sending Mail > Composition defaults.
I was given an “@e.email” if I send from phone it comes a e.email, from desktop app it comes as “murena.io” . In the desktop app I am set to @e.email, so ya a bit confusing, not really to me but it could confuse the person receiving the email…
