Dear users,

On Thursday 15th of December there will be a 2h maintenance on murena.io, from 3:30 to 5:30 UTC.

We will deploy a new release based on the latest Nextcloud 24 image, which includes many performance improvements, minor bug fixes and security patches.

We are also restoring the ability to change your profile picture on murena.io, and have fixed a problem preventing large file uploads (of several GBs) to your cloud.

Furthermore, we hope the new version pleases you and overcomes the inconvenience of this service disruption, which we are working hard to reduce in the future.

Nextcloud 24 :thinking: why not Nextcloud Hub 3 (25.0.1) that Nextcloud promoted as being a big upgrade?

Response from the Infra team: We will be progressing step by step. We were on v23, so will first adopt v24 first.
v25 requires major UI changes and will be taken up in the first quarter of 2023.

The update completed successfully.
murena.io is updated to NC 24. It includes

  • performance improvements :rocket:
  • you can change your avatar again :white_check_mark:
  • Fix for large file uploads :white_check_mark:
  • New icons for the beta user program :new:
  • App updates to latest versions :new:
  • Translation improvements :white_check_mark:
  • Fixes to calendar event invitations and reminders :white_check_mark:

All systems should be functioning normally now.
