Set camera storage location

Hello,
I would like to set the storage location in the camera app on my Fairphone 6 to the external SD card. Unfortunately, I cannot select the location directly there, but have to enter it manually. However, it is not possible to enter special characters such as /, only plain text. Can anyone help me with this?

The stock Camera app has an option for this in it’s settings in the More camera controls section, Save location. But to access the SD card you need also to activate the Storage Access Framework option below.

BTW: All the GCam ports seem not to be able to set a proper storage location. My idea was to create a symlink from the device internal memory to a directory on the SD card. But this seems not to be possible

I must correct myself: At least the latest available GCam port named MGC_9.3.160_V34_MGC.apk is able to store it’s pictures on the SD card instead of using the internal memory. But you can’t select a folder, the folder is always /DCIM/camera.
