Setting up /e/ on password locked phone

So I am wanting to get these phones and install /e/ on them. Only problem is that they’re password locked. Is this a problem? Or will /e/ totally erase android and the password lock will never show up again?

They are certainly stolen phones

I doubt you will be able to install /e/ on them as you typically need to enable USB which requires you to unlock the phone.

#5

Ahh makes sense!!
Thanks for the thought! :+1:

Oh that’s not so good…:scream:
How can you tell?

#7

Two phones locked are mostly stolen phones. Or the phones of his/her dead grandparents but it’s less likely.

Yeah definitely less likely I would say… but not really funny.
