SHIFT6m and eOS?

Hi all!

I have an old SHIFT6m (not -6mq), currently with A8, and I wonder if I could also install the eOS for SHIFT6mq ?

The SHIFT phones in the series do not share a device codename,

Retail Branding	Marketing Name	Device	Model
SHIFT	SHIFT6m	SHIFT6m	SHIFT6m
SHIFT	SHIFT6mq	axolotl	SHIFT6mq
SHIFT	SHIFTphone 8	otter	SHIFTphone 8

so, no, the builds for SHIFT6m / 6mq are not interchangeable.

I at least was able to update to A8.1.0…

For non supported devices, there is the possibility of installing G.S.I. (Generic System Image)
