SHIFTphone 8 and e/os

I’m very interested in this new to come device.

I’ve sent a mail to SHIFT asking if it would be available with e/os.

They responded that it will be available with their normal ShiftOS-G and also their ShiftOS-L (Lite version without Google Apps and services)
For their phones they are in contact with LineageOS, calyxOS, postmarketOS and Ubuntu Touch and support these cummunities with devices, but they cannot guarantee that there will be a e/os version for this device.

Hopefully e/os will adopted for this device.
I’m looking into changing my Fairphone 4 to the SHIFTphone 8…

If LineageOS is available for this phonen, then /e/OS version should not be a problem
