I tried the offical 3.0 Update, but it still says: “Your device is corrupt. It can’t be trusted and will not boot.” after the second locking
No idea what the problem might be, maybe it can’t be locked yet. The team also announced some partnership with shiftphone and your model…

Why it indicates that the topic has been solved? 
I also tried unofficial 3.0, also didn’t work.
FYI, somehow the deleted the 3.0 version from both channels.
The Issue modem: new firmware is needed for SHIFTphone 8.1 #8689 would likely cause this reported error as the build is “Wrong”. The issue is merged and reported to be included in e-3.1 (next month, I guess).

I see that it is more than closed it is now 404: Page not found and I do not seem to find reference to it in Open | Closed | All issues.
One explanation might be that the issue became “marked confidential”, idk.

But since 3.0.2 got released(?), I assume it might be fixed with 3.0.2 already and we wont have to wait for 3.1.

Okey, according to a Dev from the Shift Forum the issue is still open(at least a few days ago), he assumes that it will get merged in 3.1: SHIFTphone 8 - ShiftOS-G - Bug / Fehler - Shiftphone 8.1 /e/ OS und ShiftOS | SHIFTPHONES
So I guess one could try the 3.1-beta or wait for the 3.1-rc or wait for the release of 3.1 at the end of June.
