Hope, this is the correct category for my question.
Is it possible to set a shortcut for “turn on WLAN” and/or “turn on mobile data”?
I’m one of these odd guys that always turn off WLAN / mobile data after using it.
To turn it on, I have to slide down the “quick access menu”, select “internet” and then push the button WLAN / mobile data.
Therefore I would like to know is there a faster method?
I already tried with the app “shortcut creater” - but I do not know what activity to start directly WLAN / mobile data.
Maybe I even don’t need an third party app and e/OS has some settings, that I don’t know?
Hallo, Hi
You can use Automate from Llamalab, it is full functional but limited in running “blocks”.
I’m sure Macrodroid, Tasker etc are able to do that also.
But to be honest, it could be a little tricky because of Google - with every new android version there are less permissons for 3rd party apps.

Fritz
Edit: I have a usecase for switching mute/unmute
normally you can’t have different pictures if toggling between mute/unmute.
There I use a widget created with KWGT - but you have to dig in some sort
of programming.
Just a shortcut for toggling WIFI/WLAN with the same symbol works for me - just
tried. Maybe you have to ADB Automate so that it has more functionality as I did, no root
Allright - I tried out “Wifi widget” “Activity Launcher”, “Wifi shortcuts”
but it all ends with at least two clicks, because they all send you to the Wifi menu and there I have to click an my specific Wifi…
So, I decided to use e/OS-solution as described by @Hase - also 2 clicks, but no 3rd party app.
Thanks again.
