Smartbroker+ on FP6 with /e/OS?

Dear Community,

I’d like to get an FP6 with /e/OS. Can anyone tell me if the Smartbroker+ app works with it?
A post from last year reported serious issues with Smartbroker+ on FP5 with /e/OS—unfortunately, it never received a reply.

Hello, I interestingly got the notification email by your thread.

My problem occurred with different applications. Notably all those apps used a website/the browser to handle the authentication flow.

So I poked around in the security setting of eOS and the browser. I think I fixed it by toggling the browser setting “Allow forward URL request to external intent,” if I remember correctly. Anyways I was able to fix this and did not have any more login issues with Smartbroker+ or other apps on my FP5.

Thank you so much for your quick and helpful response! It’s good to know that Smartbroker+ generally runs on /e/OS and that, if necessary, you need to enable URL request forwarding.

This encourages me to go ahead with my plan to switch to /e/OS.
