I installed the current /e/OS on my FP4. Phone calls and mobile data work fine, but I cannot send or receive SMS. I tried QKSMS and the default Message app, it’s the same in both.
This is my first week with /e/OS and Android for that matter, so I am unsure how to troubleshoot this.
Since this is your first week I assume you are not using VPNs or anything.
Check in the network settings and make sure you are not using Private DNS.
Also under DNS Configuration/Settings, make sure “Use network DNS” is toggled on.
Other than that, not sure. Maybe double check the APN settings for your provider.
Solved.
I was using Multi-SIM and my provider allows SMS only on the main SIM. Swapped them, all works now.
