Sorting messages by other than date

Using /e/OS Setup

Hi There,
I do not know if possible, but I want to have my inbox sorted by sender, rather than date, and yes, I click on the icon and select that option.

But it is not persistent, as soon as the page refreshes, it goes back to sort-by-date, so, how do I set sort-by-sender as default?
