A very fundamental thing to be able to do anything
Where is the Home-button? My former phone, a Motorola Moto G5 Plus (Android 8) had the Apple-idea as the solid base: I could alway tap that (middle under) to retunr to the starting screen. Now it appears to be impossible to find the startscreen at all. I swept a bit - no result. I cannot even exit the running app !
Apparently I lost a few years development in manipulating a smartphone.
What to do?
Het zou inderdaad fijn zijn als dit forum inderdaad Nederlandstalig blijkt.
At the bottom of the screen you should see three icons.
If not (e.g. if an App hides them to use the full screen), tap anywhere to make them visible again.
The left icon (triangle) is the “Back” button. The middle icon (circle) is the “Home” button.
The right icon (square) ist the “Recent Apps” button.
Thanks for your help. But unfortunately I didn’t find the “anywhere”, in other words I tried the whole screen, but everywhere no effect at all…
The more general point is: How can anyone know, when there is no clue to do this?
But that’s the problem. I need the “home button” to get into Settings. Or is there another way?
Now I can’t doe the most fundamental things. Making a selfie in order to get entry to my banking app, installing My favortie apps. I don’t see the App Lounge any more
Can you access the notification area by swiping down from the top of the screen ?
If you can pull it down far enough there is a settings cog icon in the lower right that can get you to settings
Thank you, howzsteev2! I think it’s difficult to find, especially when you don’t really know the consequences of the choices… but this part works. Let’s get on in tuning the phone.
