(status bar) lost USB notification

Using /e/OS Settings

Hello.

Both Samsung a3y17lte and Moto E 2015 don’t show no more the notification in status bar when connecting to PC (W10 20H2 / Debian 10.9). All devices full updated.

We’re using OpenLauncher but it hadn’t update recently and doesn’t allow to setup this feature. I didn’t found how to config in Settings.

So we must manualy change USB setting from Settings > Connexions

Édith found a workaround:

  • enable dev’ options
  • drag down and choose USB settings
  • enable ‘file transfert’ as default,
  • disable dev’ options
  • reboot & enjoy.
    But…
