An article from a tracker provider [1] telling the public how to protect against trackers. I love that.
[1] all of the several SRF apps have the same 5 trackers

They are maybe not really aware of what it implies. Their app developper must have told them that this is standard and it will bring some additional revenues, so that they will not have to finance the apps through the public television budget.
The broadcast on the television/radio can be watched outside the apps, and the apps are not the main watching channel.
Moreover some trackers are only here to get app usage statistics, which is fair.
Maybe in the future they will change the way they finance their app.
I am sure this has been discussed inside and outside the public television.
