I just spent way too much time slogging through threads (most of them closed) just trying to understand the directionality of file syncs. Others suggested updating the documentation and this post is to reinforce that suggestion. The How does eDrive sync work? document should explain how adds, deletes, moves, and renames are handled on each end. It would save users time and surprises. It should be a quick and easy change.

I second that. I think I could write that doc entry, but it isn’t possible for outside contributors.

I used to read the code of edrive. It didn’t change much within the last year, so it still applies:
