Tasks: do not repeat after completion. Alternatives?

were it is known that repeat after completion ( of recurrent tasks, I suppose) is not supported.

Would you please suggest a FOSS alternative working with DAV, if any ?

The fork of OpenTasks should be checked again, since they have added recurring tasks to their app in the meantime.

This is an important feature for many.
