Caught this on the TV news just now. Things just get worse it seems. Meta acts like they’re surprised this is happening. Yeah, right. It’s their code/backend.
I’ve been using TaxSlayer for years now. sigh

Heh, the news anchor followed up the business report with simply, “class action”.
The lure of getting almost immediate refunds no longer holds in light of this. Go back to the days of filing by mail.

Have you tried Open Tax Solver?
You could also try to limit your withholding so you either get a small refund or owe a little to Uncle Sam. Then the turnaround time after filing will be a non-issue.
