The Lounge app is not stable

When I start the Lounge app, there are often problems. Sometimes it works fine, but usually, it doesn’t. At the moment, I keep getting an unknown error.

Can't connect to App Lounge

For me App Lounge started to display apps on its front page since last night (18-Nov-2024). App Lounge comes as v2.10.1 for now. What does not work for me is the capacity to actually install apps from the Play Store repository. Apps show as “N/A” (as shown on the IMG below). I only tried the “Anonymous Mode” [photo_2024-11-19_17-59-08]. UPDATE: 20-Nov-2024: Now, App Lounge fully works on my side. Tested with 3 different devices.

Tengo un Fairphone 4 comprado en la tienda de Murena, Applounge lleva sin funcionar unos 3 días. Desde el fallo del 6 de octubre está inestable. Uso Aurora Store y fdroid que no dan ningún problema. Es una pena que a día de hoy estemos en esta situación. Esta startup prometía mucho, pero parece que con el tiempo va perdiendo mi confianza. Espero que esto se solucione pronto.

I have a Fairphone 4 purchased at the Murena store, Applounge has not worked for about 3 days. Since the ruling on October 6, it has been unstable. My Fairphone 4 with /e/OS 2.5 and App Lounge update to 2.10.1 works without a problem.

AppLounge anonymous mode has been reopened for all users with only one restriction, the current AppLounge version should be >= 2.10.1.

While we will release the new code with v2.6( ETA end of November or early December) you can also update App Lounge in these 4 ways:

1. [/e/OS >= 2.3] from AppLounge update tab. It only works with a valid Google token.
2. [/e/OS >= 2.3] clear app cache, login into app lounge with PWA and open source apps only (you can do this from App Lounge>> settings>> Show application), new App Lounge version will be listed from update tab. Once installed, user can reuse anonymous token mode.
3. [/e/OS < 2.3] install app lounge manually by following our documentation (App Lounge ).
4. Wait next /e/OS update 2.6 ( ETA end of November or early December) .
