could you create some tool to save the wireless passwords when doing the backup? it is very annoying every time you format to lose the wireless networks, it would make the user experience much easier

Seedvault does backup known wifis and their passphrases. It’s present, but increasingly hidden in /e/ roms.
A workable solution is: share the handful of wifi networks as qr-codes, screenshot them, backup the screenshots, rescan the qrcode in the wifi-settings on new devices.
