Tikkie (Dutch Payment App) not working on phones without google

I saw this post by @Georgette that didn’t get much comments.

I could solve their issue by downloading an App Manager from F-DROID and using it as a middlepoint between the link and the app. This app gets detected as a browser so you can use it to open the link to any app you want.

as an illustration, can you show how this looks in practice (anonymized / obfuscated) ?

is it like a share url that you open with AppManager and then send to the .MainActivity of tikkie?
